Norjalainen halpalentoyhtiö Norwegian mainostaa halpoja lentoja nyt myös Suomessa. Valitettavasti halpuuden takana on suomalaisen työelämän pelisääntöjen noudattamatta jättäminen.
Suomen Lentoemäntä- ja Stuerttiyhdistys SLSY ry solmii matkustamohenkilöstöä koskevan yleissitovan työehtosopimuksen. Saatujen tietojen mukaan Norwegian ei suostu sitä noudattamaan ja heidän maksamansa palkkataso on niin heikko, että sillä ei käytännössä Suomessa voi tulla toimeen. Yhtiö käyttääkin ulkomaalaista vuokratyövoimaa.
SLSY kehottaa kaikkia ammattiliittoja välttämään yhtiön lentoja, kunnes se suostuu noudattamaan alan yleissitovaa työehtosopimusta.

Norwegian, a low-cost airline from Norway, is also advertising cheap flights in Finland. Unfortunately, the factor behind the cheap fares neglects the rules of Finnish working life.
The Finnish Cabin Crew Union has concluded a generally binding Collective Labour Agreement for cabin crew. According to information received, Norwegian refuses to comply with the Finnish CLA, and their salary structure is too weak to manage financially in Finland. Therefore, the company uses a temporary foreign labour force.
The Finnish Cabin Crew Union encourages all unions to refrain from using Norwegian flights until they accept the generally binding CLA for cabin crew.
